LAMP provides assistance to approximately 10,000 people each year through its four departments. They are : Helpers Unlimited - emergency assistance with food, clothing, rent, utilities, and transportation; Health Care - assistance for individuals in need of prescriptions, dental care, and eye care; Emergency Shelter - a short-stay program for men, women, and children; Transitional Housing - a longer stay (24 month) program designed to return the clients to self-sufficiency.

Served 41,753 meals in our shelters
Provided 23,270 bed-nights
Assisted 492 with prescriptions, dental care, and eye care
Served 752 children by providing back-to-school supplies and clothes
Provided 353 families with their Thanksgiving meal
Hosted a Block Festival for over 400 community members

Changing Lives is a series of events designed to educate the citizens and youth of Valdosta and Lowndes County. The focus will be on the indigent and homeless and the role LAMP plays in ministering to this population.
